Young Adult Development

Beyond Care

Helping Young Adults Prepare for Their Next Chapter.

Growing up and leaving care can be a major transition. Young adults need more than a place to go. They need confidence, practical skills, experience and opportunities to help them build an independent future.

Little Hearts Mission aims to support young adults as they take their next steps beyond care.

Young Adults Preparing for Independence

Everyone Deserves an Opportunity to Begin Again.

Little Hearts Mission will continue working with local organisations, businesses and community partners to develop practical opportunities for young adults.

Learn • Create • Grow

Helping every child learn, dream and believe in their future.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, explore, create and feel valued — including children with disabilities and children on the autism spectrum.

The Little Hearts Kids Club is an inclusive education and creative support program for children and young people in Vietnam and the Philippines. Through age-appropriate and, where possible, individually suitable resources, we aim to make learning more accessible, enjoyable and meaningful.

Little Hearts Kids Club

But it’s more than giving. It’s the meaning behind it.

It is knowing that someone believes in you.
It is having something new to learn, read, create or explore.
It is receiving encouragement and knowing that you are valued.

How the Kids Club Works

1

A Child Becomes a Member

For as little as $10, a child can join the Little Hearts Kids Club and receive their Welcome Kit.

We recognise that children learn and develop differently. Where possible, resources will be selected according to their age, abilities, interests and individual learning needs.

2

They Receive Something New Each Month

Members can receive different educational and creative resources throughout the year, such as:

  • Workbooks
  • Storybooks
  • Activity and colouring books
  • Pencils, pens and stationery
  • Educational and sensory-friendly activities
  • Reading and learning resources
  • A special birthday gift

The aim is not simply to provide the same materials every month, but to offer new opportunities for learning, creativity and discovery.

3

We Celebrate Their Birthday

Every child deserves to feel special.

Where possible, Kids Club members will receive a birthday gift, helping them feel remembered, valued and celebrated.

Every Child Belongs

An Inclusive Kids Club

Little Hearts Kids Club welcomes children with disabilities and children on the autism spectrum.

We understand that not every child learns in the same way. Some children may benefit from visual learning, sensory-friendly activities, simplified instructions, larger print, hands-on resources or activities suited to their individual abilities.

Where possible, we aim to provide resources that are inclusive, accessible and appropriate for each child's needs.

Our goal is simple: No child should be left out of the opportunity to learn, create and grow.

Sponsor a Child

Give $10 a Month. Help Create Ongoing Opportunities.

For just $10 per month, you can sponsor a child to become a Little Hearts Kids Club member. Your sponsorship helps provide their monthly education and activity resources, while also supporting special moments such as their birthday.

But it’s more than giving. It’s the meaning behind it. Your support tells a child:

“Your education matters.” “You are valued.” “Someone believes in you.”

A monthly kit may seem small, but to a child it can mean having something new to look forward to, something to learn from and something that encourages them to keep dreaming.

Connecting Australia With Children Around the World

Little Hearts Mission aims to connect caring supporters in Australia with children and young people in Vietnam and the Philippines.

The Kids Club can support children through:

Schools Alternative Education Settings Orphanages Community Programs

Where appropriate, and with the necessary permissions and safeguarding measures, sponsors may receive letters or messages from the child or young person they support, helping create a meaningful connection across countries and cultures.

More Than a Monthly Kit

The Little Hearts Kids Club is not simply about giving children educational materials. It is about creating consistent encouragement, inclusion and opportunity.

We want every child — regardless of their abilities or circumstances — to have opportunities to learn, be creative, discover their strengths and imagine a brighter future.

As the Kids Club grows, we hope to introduce more resources including:

Storybooks
Creative activity books
Educational workbooks
Journals & writing
Learning activities
Sensory-friendly
Life-skills resources
Birthday gifts

Our goal is to continue developing the program around the age, abilities, needs and interests of the children we support.

EVERY CHILD BELONGS

An Inclusive Kids Club

Little Hearts Kids Club welcomes children with disabilities and children on the autism spectrum.

Some children need visual learning, sensory-friendly activities, simplified instructions, larger print, hands-on resources or a little extra time, and we build that flexibility in from the start.

We shape every resource to fit each child's needs, so it's inclusive, accessible and built specifically around who they are, not a one-size-fits-all version of childhood.

Our goal is simple: no child is left out because of how they learn or what they need.

Sponsor a Child

Ten Dollars a Month Changes What's Possible.

For $10 a month, you can sponsor a child to join the Little Hearts Kids Club. Your gift funds their monthly education and creative resources, and helps make sure their birthday doesn't pass unnoticed.

A sponsorship is never just a transaction. It tells a child something words alone can't:

“You matter.” “You're not forgotten.” “You're not alone.”

A monthly kit might look small from the outside. To a child, it means something to open, something to learn from, and proof that someone kept their promise to show up again.

Connecting Australia With Children Around the World

Little Hearts Mission connects caring supporters across Australia with children and young people in Vietnam and the Philippines, building bridges that go far beyond a single monthly donation, one real connection at a time.

The Kids Club reaches children through four channels:

Schools Alternative Education Settings Orphanages Community Programs

With the right safeguards in place, sponsors can receive letters or messages from the child they support, turning a monthly gift into a real, genuinely ongoing connection across countries and cultures.

More Than a Monthly Kit

The Little Hearts Kids Club was never just about handing out supplies. It's about steady encouragement, real inclusion and doors that stay open.

We want every child, regardless of ability or circumstance, to explore new ideas, discover what they're good at and picture a future worth working toward.

As the Kids Club grows, these are the resources we're adding next:

Bilingual storybooks
Problem-solving activity books
Subject-specific workbooks
Journals for writing and reflection
Hands-on learning kits
Sensory-friendly tools
Practical life-skills guides
Milestone birthday gifts

We're building this program around the real needs of the children we support, not the other way around.
